WELSH NATIONAL DRAMA MOVEMENT 1914

Under the patronage of Lord Howard de Walden, the Welsh National Drama movement of 1914 was the best attempt made in Wales to create an indigenous National Theatre.

My ongoing research has involved researching the many different people involved in the movement, both on and behind the stage, and collating documentary evidence of the various events which were part of the movement. I have also corresponded with other interested historians and Professors.

You will find brief biographies of some of those who were involved in this movement at my Welsh Curtain Calls web site.
